After reviewing the services & products our clients need most, as well as focusing on what makes Mixed Media high quality and profitable, we are making the following changes:

1. Switching to a Virtual Office

On May 1st, we will move from a physical office to a virtual one. While this is partially a cost-saving measure, we also find that many of our clients prefer we come to their office for meetings. As such, we will be closing our physical office and will now meet with clients for appointments as needed at their offices or a location of their choice. Our phone number & email addresses will not be changing. Simply get in touch and we can schedule your next appointment!

2. Focusing on Quality

Mixed Media has grown each year since 2006 because of quality, and to make sure that we maintain the same level of quality, we intend on scheduling fewer design projects at the same time, ensuring that we can give the right attention to each project. This means that we may require more lead time on a project or in some situations may choose to decline some new projects occasionally.

3. Printing Dept Changes

Going forward, some products we provide will have increased minimum quantities. We will no longer offer rush printing, nor digital copying. Contact us with any questions.

4. Discontinuing Some Products & Services

We will no longer offer Displays, Name Badges, Pens, and most miscellaneous non-paper promotional materials. If you are concerned about whether we will still provide certain items, please email us! We will do our best to provide a solid referral whenever possible.

5. Website & Design Services with a clearer focus!

We are still providing the same great Website Design and Graphic Design services we’ve become known for, as we know this is a key part of most of our clients businesses. Website services are our strongest area of growth, and we intend to cultivate that going forward.

What’s New in 2012?

Last year, we worked with many small businesses to improve their marketing with the spectrum of services we offer. In 2012, we plan to do even better by rededicating ourselves to our strengths in marketing solutions, design, and custom web development. This will involve a change in how we do business, all in an effort to improve the customer experience, and optimize our ability to make a difference in the growth of our clients’ businesses.

In the coming weeks, we will be going live with a new website, which will include updates about our services, new portfolios, and other new details.

Please note our new office hours! We are open Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm. It’s always best to make an appointment before visiting, to ensure the right person is available to help you. Thank you!

Website Launched: Advanced Muscle Therapy & Fitness

Mixed Media is once again extremely proud to announce the website development for another wonderful local company, Advanced Muscle Therapy. Located on Amelia Island, Advanced Muscle Therapy works directly with patients who may need any number of a variety of fitness, training or therapy services.

We had the privilege to work with Larry Ogilvie before, when we helped Advanced Muscle Therapy develop a brochure and rack card, back in December of 2010. So, when Larry asked us to help him develop a new website for him, something with a little more “pop”, we were more than thrilled to work with him again.

To get the “pop” that Larry and Tifini desired, we brightened all the colors and added a nice, serene ocean photo as the background image. The new website uses a teal color that coordinates with the photo of the ocean, and has a blue stripe that adds texture. Blue and yellow-gold accents add dimension to the layout. We also added a 3-column strip that features a box for newsletter sign-up, their location and office hours. A wide strip was added that features their location on Google maps, for easy navigation for potential clients that may not already know where they’re located.

The new Advanced Muscle Therapy website is already a big hit within their own business, and we hope future clients of theirs will feel the same. We look forward to a growing business relationship with them in the future.

We’re proud to announce that our new “baby,” The Biz Magazine, is coming to a business near you this fall! The team at Mixed Media has been working overtime in preparation of our first issue and an upcoming website.

What is The Biz you ask? It is Nassau County’s only publication dedicated to the business community (as well as the best place for B2B advertisements! …wink, wink). There will be no fluff, advertorials or useless content in The Biz. We’re giving our local business community the chance to speak up about issues that face them. By sharing their expertise, it will help our community benefit from the knowledge of others and become familiar with the trends, leaders and opportunities in our county.

New Website Launched for Team Stillwell, Realtors

Our latest web project has us joining forces with two of Amelia Island’s top real estate professionals. Like so many of our clients, John and Dorothea came to Mixed Media with a website that just wasn’t doing it for them. They needed new design, new abilities, and greater reach.

Working closely with the client, our design team put together an attractive, user-friendly web design that really helps the Stillwell Team shine. Their focus on a clean design brings the attention where it belongs, to the content.

After the design phase, Mixed Media’s web team got involved. With the understanding that it’s all about the data, the team focused on getting the information that Team Stillwell’s clients were looking for. Knowing that few people have the time to manage their web content (and even if they did, that’s just so early 90′s), we decided to integrate the site with the MLS servers. Users of the site now have the ability to search for local property or view the most recently posted listings without the Stillwell Team having to lift a finger. Which is how it should be. We make the web work for our client, not the other way around.

With no further ado…. presenting The Stillwell Team!

It was our pleasure to work with the Stillwells, and luckily, it doesn’t have to end! We’ll be handling their SEO and PPC services moving forward.

Here is a great photo of the Council on Aging accepting a generous donation for their Meals on Wheels program. This appeared in the Fernandina Beach Newsleader on 6/24/11.

In the photo, you can see the large check that Mixed Media designed and printed for the Council on Aging to use for photo opportunities. The board is printed on rigid plastic with laminated covering that allows writing with erasable markers. Do you need a big check for your organization? We can help!
